How to get natural looking waves (without heat) in naturally straight hair

The grass is greener on the other side.

Almost anyone with naturally straight hair will tell you it sucks. You. Do. Not. Want. It. Girls with naturally voluminous hair or just girls with natural waves/curls will be all "OMG you're so lucky!" that your locks are... well, boring. Lucky? The grass is greener on the other side, I guess.
No offence to the ladies who love and adore their naturally straight tresses. You go, girl. Love yourself.

But in most cases, naturally straight hair is just blah. I don't love it and have spoken to many a girl who feels the same way. The hair is flat, usually thin and has no volume. It just hangs there...from your head. Ew.

So what does a girl do when she wants a bit of volume and shape but doesn't have the time or desire to curl her hair every morning?

Well, with a little product and a hair tie, waking up with effortless wavy hair is completely attainable.

It begins with freshly washed hair and a product that promotes curl retention.

Freshly washed hair is perfect hair for holding curls, waves and any other style that goes against your natural growth.
Give your hair a wash and let it air-dry. Using a hair dryer will bond your natural shape, so trying to give yourself waves will be that much harder. It just won't work very well.

Once your hair is dry enough, smooth through just one pump of 18 in 1 Argan Oil, Keratin, Panthenol & Vitamin E Smoothing Cream, massaging it through your mid-lengths and ends.
Aside from having curl retention properties and increasing volume, it also helps to strengthen and smooth your hair.
Or, you can use an alternative product that will help hold in waves.

While you lay sleeping...

Once you've brushed and smoothed your hair, twist it up and tie it into a bun on top of your head.
Make sure it's tight (but not too tight) and rest your weary head for a good nights sleep.

When you wake, let your hair down and bask in the glory that is your natural looking waves. Waves that will hold for the whole day. Or maybe most of the day. Hair be stubborn.
Plus, after using 18-in-1, your hair is also now soft and strong.

And there we have it. Easy.

Have fun with your new hair gals.
